Benchmarking vybraných obchodních korporací

Abstract

Benchmarking considered one of the key methods of collecting and evaluating information about competition. The goal of theis thesis is to perform a comprehensive analysis using the benchmarking method for selected companies and, based on the knowledge gained, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and suggest or recommend ways to improve their performance and competitiveness. This thesis explores the theoretical foundations of benchmarking and financial analysis in its first part. In the second part, it evaluates competitive capabilities of Alfa, Lambda and Delta companies in terms of SWOT analysis and financial analysis, using benchmarking, a method for such assessments. Based on the findings, this thesis formulates several proposals and recommendations for each of the assessed companies.
