Abstract

The present bachelor thesis deals with the dependence of a charge on the hydrogen content. The objective of the thesis is to describe the issue of gas contents, primarily hydrogen, in the steel melt. The theoretical part describes the dissolving of gases in metal, their influence on mechanical properties and methods for removal of gases from the metal. The practical part delineates three heats with the same chemical composition, where a charge was changed. As a result, the hydrogen contents changed in the melt. Furthermore, the thesis also mentions the measure eliminating the charge influence on the hydrogen content.
