This thesis is aimed at specifying the kinetics of fatigue cracks growth in tool steel and in steel with fire residence.
The influence of mechanical properties of the given specimens under constant asymmetry of the cycle (R= 0, 05) was checked. Much difference between both kinetics of fatigue cracks growth on studied materials and was evident. This result showed to be in perfect correspondence with the mechanical properties and steel chemistry.
