Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on competency models. The aim of the thesis is to design competency models for three selected job positions and their possible use in the chosen company. The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The content of the theoretical part is to clarify basic terminology related to competencies and competency models. The findings from the theoretical part are then transferred to practice and this part is already the process of creating competency models for selected job positions. The component of this practical part consists of recommendations areas for using these proposing models in society.
