Abstract
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of a school catering
and the concept of a school canteen service realization. The thesis can be divided into two parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical characteristics of gastronomy and other culinary terms, school catering and school canteen. In the second part there is introduced the school canteen which has been chosen for this thesis and reconstruction proposal for it. The thesis continues with results of research which was done by using the questionnaire technique and the SWOT analysis of the organization, follows-up recommendation for the potential school canteen.
