The diploma thesis focuses on the safety of urban road public transport in order to reduce the number of unlawful acts committed against persons and property and injuries to passengers caused by collisions in urban road public transport vehicles in a selected municipality. The thesis describes the current state of physical security of the selected urban road public transport, reports on crime and road traffic accidents in the area and proposes changes to increase the level of protection of persons and property during normal operation. Based on the identified deficiencies and risks, innovative measures are proposed in the form of SWOT analysis strategies.
