Hodnocení finanční výkonnosti vybraného podniku v průmyslovém odvětví a jeho srovnání s odvětvím s využitím benchmarkingu

Abstract

Autor diplomové práce hodnotí finanční výkonnost podniku ve srovnání s odvětvím, ve kterém podnik působí za období 2004-2010. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části práce je uvedena podstata finanční analýzy a jednotlivých poměrových ukazatelů, postup pyramidového rozkladu, charakteristika bonitních a bankrotních modelů, ukazatele EVA a popis procesu benchmarking. V praktické části práce je pak výše zmíněná metodika aplikována na společnost Třinecké železárny, a.s. a odvětví Zpracovatelského průmyslu – Výroba základních kovů, hutní zpracování. Benchmarking je proveden na základě porovnání a zhodnocení jednotlivých výsledku společnosti Třinecké železárny, a.s. a odvětví za celkové sledované období 2004-2010. Srovnání je provedeno z hlediska finanční analýzy, bonitních a bankrotních modelů a ukazatele EVA.

The author of the thesis assesses the financial performance of the company in comparison with the industry in which the company operates for the period 2004-2010. The work is divided into part of the theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part of the work is given the nature of the financial analysis and the different ratios, the procedure of the pyramid decomposition, characteristics of the creditworthy and bankruptcy models, indicators and a description of the process of benchmarking and the EVA. In the practical part of the work is then applied to the above mentioned methodology company Třinecké železárny, a.s. and manufacturing industry-manufacture of basic metals, metallurgical processing. Benchmarking is carried out on the basis of the comparison and evaluation of the outcome of the company Třinecké železárny, a.s. and industry for the period 2004-2010. The comparison is carried out from the perspective of financial analysis, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and indicators of the EVA.
