Abstract

This thesis, in its early chapters, describes the geological and hydrological characteristics of browncoal mine named Czechoslovak army. The main chapter named "Design of The Main pumping stations and drainage, drainage control system". Sub-sections include legislative requirements for the construction of the main pumping station, sump corridors and other objects relevant to the construction of the drainage system. Furthermore, this chapter describes a specific proposal for the construction of the main pumping station, sump corridors, substation, but also on the types of valves that can be used. In the next chapter mentions drainage boreholes located in the foreland of the quarry (mine), as an auxiliary method of drainage of the area. The last chapter disclose a technological and economic evaluation of major pumping stations and drainage wells.
