Nasazení monitorovacího nástroje HOMER

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on monitoring and evaluation of ongoing SIP signaling using the HOMER 5 monitoring system.

Emphasis is put on installing the HOMER 5, its purpose, possibilities of use and data analysis. Next the HOMER 5 will be connected with Asterisk PBX, communication will be handled by SIP protocol. Then I will give the effort to designing a test environment, which serves to data analysis, to verify trustworthiness and to stress test of the system.

Testing itself is executed with SIPp testing tool used for testing of SIP protocol. In thesis I have done the verification of the presented data with the help of the Wireshark tool.
