Abstract

The main focus of graduation thesis is to diagnose the financial health, stability and competitiveness of a chosen company with specific diagnostic methods. The company is evaluated with the help of these diagnostic methods and information is gathered on strengths and weaknesses. Potential threats from the external environment that can influence the chosen company are identified. Basic terminology is discussed in the first part of the work which relates to these issues. Specific methods that are used in the framework of the diagnosis of the company are introduced next. These methods discuss individual strategies and are a part of final recommendations. The second part of this work is dedicated to the diagnosed company that is introduced right at the beginning of the second part and subsequently the selected methods are applied. The last part of this work summarizes all the important findings obtained from the diagnosis of the company. The current situation of the company and the possible causes of this situation are discussed here. Proposals for the improvement of the current state are introduced and a fitting new strategy is designed for future growth of the company. The entire work is ended by a conclusion which includes summarized goals of the work, individual steps of the diagnosis and the obtained findings.
