Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with money forgery and its impact on the economy (on micro and macroeconomic environment). The aim of the thesis is to show what negative impact the money forgery has on state economy and its economic and legal consequences. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the terms from the field of money forgery are explained and its history and development are described. Further, the thesis discusses an impact of money forgery on economy as well as economic and legal consequences connected with it. In the practical part, there are results of the questioning analyzed. The method of questioning was used to find out what awareness the inhabitants have of money forgery or of criminal sanctions when doing such activity. The final chapter of the thesis deals with the tools, by which money forgery can be prevented either it is press technique, protective elements or public education or last but not least it is cashless payments.
