Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the economic policy of Great Britain in the global financial and economic crisis by 2008. The main goal of this thesis is to outline economic policy as a scientific discipline and its practical development in terms of Great Britain at this critical time. The first chapter introduces the general theory of economic policy and explains the basic concepts. It describes the different parts of economic policy. The content of the second chapter is a thematic approach of the global financial and economic crisis of the period 2008 - 2009, economic structure and characteristics of Great Britain and the subsequent effects of the crisis. The third chapter describes the background and political system of this country.
