Výkonnost směrování v Ad hoc sítích

Abstract

The diploma thesis “The performance of routing in Ad-hoc networks” is concerned with routing in VANET (Vehicular ad-hoc network) that is based on Ad-hoc network topology. The thesis contains characteristic definitions and theoretical description of individual properties of the network giving the baseline for practical tasks. The next part discusses VANET’s options of transmission. Examination of given routing protocols follows. The main output of the practical part is a simulation of vehicular traffic in the city district of Ostrava-Vítkovice, which is implemented by using the network simulator NS-3. The area has been designed utilizing the SUMO (Simulation of urban mobility) tool. The simulation is set up in order to optimize the real options of transmissions. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of achieved results of selected observed parameters followed by a comparison of the routing protocols.
