Výroba elektrické energie v České republice

Abstract

The topic of my diploma thesis is analysis and position of particular electric power sources in the Czech Republic. Electric power is very important due to functioning and satisfaction of human needs all over the world. It is really hard to imagine living without electricity, that´s why it´s necessary to pay a lot of attention to this topic. The ensuring and proper functioning of processes from power generation to final consumption is very important too. Science and research are long- term engaged in power generation from renewable sources, which are considered to be a phenomenon of the future electric power sources. A part of this development is an effort to reduce greenhouse gases produced by power stations using fossil fuels in connection with environmental protection. Global warming and climatic changes can be at least partially prevented.
