Lesní hřbitov s objekty skulpturální a funerální architektury, Velichovky

Abstract

The new designed cemetery is situated into locality of Bůhdal, near of the villages Velichovky and Hustířany. Because of insufficient capacity of existing burial sites, the solved area will be served as a gradient cemetery for nearest localities. Proposal conception follows a historical collocations and the nature landscape, in which it is situated. Structuring of the cemetery creates areas for various types of burying – from classical funeral into ground, through urn groves to unconventional burying ash of deceased to the roots of the trees. The main focus of diploma thesis is; as whole urbanism conception of organization of cemetery, as architectural solution of single objects – administrative building, mourning hall and forest chapel. Main thoughts come from symbiosis funeral architecture with landscape formation, for the purpose of do a peaceful and piety place to respectable farewell and last rest.
