Vliv mineralizace na trvanlivostní parametry dřeva

Abstract

The durability of wooden elements is one of the important aspects for use in wooden structures in different environment. Preventive treatment is appropriate for extension of wooden life and also for reduction of degradation factors, in particular the climate effects. This thesis deals with the chemical protection of wood - mineralization, mainly applications of organosilane. The investigated parameters after treatment are mainly the weight changes connected with material moisture and the changes of mechanical parameters – compressive strength parallel to the fibres and the impact strength. The influence of wooden mineralization by organosilane on the thermal degradation of wood was also evaluated by thermal analysis. At the conclusion of this diploma thesis, the results of individual analyses are evaluated in terms of influencing the resistance of mineralized wood against the effect of abiotic factors.
