Abstract
Human needs are rising. With growing industries, living standards and other human requirements, it is necessary to increase the amount of natural resource production to cover all those needs. That is why the mining industry is evolving as fast as any other industry. Hand in hand with this goes the demands for security of the mining sites. They are mostly covering protection measures against thievery, damage done by intruders and / or randomly moving animals. In certain cases these preventive measures are deprived. It often happens, that the costs needed for replacing stolen or damaged parts are higher, than costs needed for implementing a new security system. I would like to discuss different security tools and measures in this thesis and compare their advantages and disadvantages. At the end of my study I would like to introduce a concept my own security tool.
