Abstract
This thesis deals with evaluation and data acquirement from cephalometric radiographs. The radiographs come from patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea treated with a sleeping device.
The theoretical part concentrates on the matters of diagnosis and ways of treatment of the obstructive sleep apnoe. Furthermore it deals with the acquirement of cephalometric radiographs and the correct way of marker positioning according to anatomical structures. The theoretical part also includes a chapter concerning the sleeping device, and last but not least a chapter dealing with FOTOMNG system.
The practical part is divided into two parts. First part concentrates on creating a module in FOTOMNG system, which obtains necessary information from radiographs. Second part contains statistical evaluation of the values obtained from the radiographs.
The aim of the thesis is to create functional tools to evaluate change of obstructive sleep apnoe patients' air level using the FOTOMNG application. Another aim of this thesis is to process and evaluate cephalometric radiographs for FN Ostrava hospital, clinic of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Values acquired are further statistically processed.
