Abstract
This thesis examines changes in selected physiological parameters during activities involving the use of a breathing apparatus. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate changes in the selected physiological parameters of electrodermal activity (hereinafter EDA) and heart rate during activities with and without an autonomous air-supplied breathing apparatus. The beginning of the thesis addresses the issue of breathing apparatus. This is followed by a chapter dedicated to stressful situations and stress. Stressful situations are linked to stress and are also described as one of the possible triggers of stress. The next chapter focuses on electrodermal activity itself, followed by a chapter describing the current state of the use of electrodermal activity and heart rate in general, during physical activity, and among firefighters. The penultimate part of the thesis presents an experiment involving the conduct of the actual measurements. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the measured values and the analysis of the measured data.
