Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with a sensory analysis of pates. The aim of the thesis is determine how consumers perceive the sensory properties of almond pates of company Náhlík and Náhlík, s. r. o., Compare the results with competing brands and to propose any correction of examined the attributes of the product. The theoretical part contains theoretical bases and methods of product testing and subsequent of sensory analysis. In second theoretical part it contains characteristics of company Náhlík and Náhlík, s. r. o., Its history, product descriptions, marketing communication and distribution. The practical part is consists of the results of sensory analysis and from group interview. In conclusion are described suggestions for possible improvements sensory properties of packaging almond pate of company Náhlík and Náhlík, s. R. O., and also recommendations on expanding marketing communications of firm.
