Abstract
The aim of this thesis is estimate influence of new banks entry on the Czech republic banking sector. This thesis is divided into three parts. In the first chapter there is Czech banking sector defined. The aim of this part is analyze changes in structure. The second chapter is focused on theoretical definition of competition, concentration and efficiency. There is also given summary of empirical papers, which are interested in similar problems. In the fourth chapter there are presented the results. Data for this thesis are used from unconsolidated Annual reports 2006 – 2012.
