Streamování videa pomocí multicastu v IPv6 sítích.

Abstract

In this thesis, we deal with multicast video streaming in IPv6 networks. The theoretical part consists of two parts. The first chapter is targeted directly to multicast, which describes its basic characteristics, principles, applications that utilize this transmission, different kinds of protocols and addressing in IPv4 and IPv6. The second part deals with the audio and video codecs that can be used for this transfer. There is explained their significance, distribution, study and description of the selected species. In the practical part, which is again divided into two parts, it said something about selecting and configuring of suitable Linux programs, together with the implementation of computer networks and the subsequent stress testing in laboratory conditions.
