Návrh úprav křižovatky na ulici Bílovecká u Hornbachu v Ostravě-Svinově

Abstract

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to carry out variant project of modifications of the organization and the control at the crossroads on Bílovecká - Street near Hornbach in Ostrava-Svinov (the crossroad with the nonlinear right of way). We might divide the Bachelor thesis into three parts. The first one deals with the description of the original state of this crossroad, evaluation of present problems caused by the traffic and by their impact on the crossroad, whereas we stem from data such as traffic research and accident frequency on this place. Data mentioned above will be evaluated in proper way and we will suggest steps which will lead to the modifications which will ensure higher security and continuous traffic. The second part is dedicated to the project of this crossroad modification well-founded by needed capacitive calculation and appropriate graphical documentation. The examination of the capacity of street by means of trailing curve and the simulation of the traffic by means of program called PTV VISSIM will be carried out in all variations. Finally, we will analyze and choose the most feasible variation of solution on the basis of appointed criteria and we will deduce conclusion in which we will choose the best project.
