Abstract

The theme of this thesis is the optimization of inventory management in the company Maxion Wheels Czech s.r.o. The main objective is to describe the inventory management system and refine it. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part is focused on general explanation of logistic concepts and systems. Practical part is focused on ABC analysis, insurance supply, signal supply, optimal amount of order for consignment store. In conclusion, there are described achieved results and possibilities for reducing capital of supplies.
