Abstract
The purpose of the dissertational thesis was to develop and implement a management methodology of supply chain resilience based on computer simulation. Developed methodology has verified on a real supply chain in automotive industry. The proposed methodology of supply chain management is a part of the concept for supply chain development and evaluation of supply chain resilience. The concept is based on classic models of strategic management. In dissertational thesis, “resilience” consider the ability of supply chain to get back to the normal state after major internal or external disturbances with minimal expenses. The supply chain simulation has been developed in DOSIMIS – 3 using mathematical modelling approaches and modern information and communication technologies. Developed software for supply chain simulation has been described as a significant tool for: structure and risk analysis, linkages between particular units, calculation of disruption probabilities and continuous ensuring of the highest supply chain resilience.
