Abstract
The bachelor's thesis deals with cogeneration units and other uses in various places of possible installation. The work is divided into several parts. The first two parts explain the principle, operation of cogeneration units and there are other cogeneration units that we must see on the market today. The main part is focused on the economic balance of the equipment and operation of the cogeneration unit. The last part mentions the green bonus and a few examples of installed cogeneration units in the Czech Republic.
