Abstract

The thesis proposes an appropriate storage solution in the given industrial enterprise. The theoretical part deals with logistics and storage. The practical part deals with the storage of billets on a coarse rolling mill at ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. The thesis first analyzes the current state of storage of billets of the rough rolling mill, then the detection of operational deficiencies and subsequently proposals for their removal. The output of the diploma thesis is the proposal of efficient storing of billets in the rough rolling mill's operation.
