Abstract
The thesis deals with the identification and causes of injuries and proposing solutions on how to reduce the personal accident rate of fire brigades on duty in the Czech Republic from 2006 to 2008. In my essay there are written connections between law regulations, examinational methods for personal protective equipment and implementation in working surroundings for fire brigades in the Czech Republic. The personal protective working equipment contain personal equipment’s fire brigades and protect them against fire, removing dangerous contaminants as well as rescuing people, animals and property. I have focused on showing how to minimize injuries.
