Abstract

In the bachelor work is dealing with the sulfate-reducing bacteria. The first part describes the current status of tackle. There is reported use of microbial activities of SRB in the industry. Then I gave a description of sulfate-reducing bacteria. Here is a description of the classification, mechanisms of food intake and the incidence of these bacteria. The next section describes the negative effects of sulfate-reducing bacteria. This chapter describes the known cases of harmful effect. At the conclusion of the work are discussed ways of removing contaminants from water using SRB, such as the use of these bacteria in hydrometallurgy and the treatment of acidic mine water.
