Analýza vlivu vybraných faktorů na solventnost pojistitele

Abstract

The purpose of my thesis is to analyze the influence of selected factors on the insurer´s solvency. The thesis is composed of five chapters. Chapter One contains an introduction. Chapter Two contains basic characteristics of insurance and various insurance categories, definition of the insurer´s solvency and description of the methods of its regulation. Chapter Three describes methods of measuring solvency, based on solvency margins. Further is provides an application of the solvency margin methods on the real actual accounting data of the selected insurer. The application includes calculation of solvency and the solvency test of the selected insurer. Chapter Four contains an analysis of the influence of changes of selected factors on the insurer´s solvency. Chapter Five contains final results evaluation.
