Vliv průběhu řídicího proudu na optické parametry laserové diody

Abstract

The Diploma thesis deals with the influence of drive current on optical characteristics of laser diode. The continuous control mode of green and blue laser diode is compared with pulse-width modulation, together with the influence of the increased operating temperature. The initial part of the thesis gives a brief introduction to the theory of lasers and laser diodes, followed by presentation of selected diodes and realization of their drive. The following are two experimental measurements, which are always given a theoretical description of the problematics. The first experiment focuses on photometric and spectral parameters, using an assembly with a spectrometer and an integrating sphere. In the second experiment, the spatial luminosity is measured with a goniophotometer. The conclusion of the thesis contains a summary of measured values and determination of the effects of control on the monitored parameters.
