Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the project of Replacing the Current Technology of Gravel Mining and Processing in the Starý Bohumín Gravel Pit – study. In addition the thesis will marginally deal with the geographical, geological and hydrogeological conditions of the deposit. The existing status of extraction, transport and treatment of the raw material is described in Chapter 4. Subsequent chapters deal with the proposed new clamshell excavator, its technical characteristics, operating economics and logistics solutions including transportation to the port of gravel, further proposal for a new production line for gravel treatment, the technical and qualitative parameters. The topic of the project of technological transport is dealt with in Chapter 4, which includes all needed calculations for the project of transport to the hydraulic excavators.
