Abstract

The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a wireless monitoring system for testing photovoltaic modules. A measuring system is designed and implemented to measure the voltage-current characteristic of the module and to process the data. The system includes hardware and firmware solutions necessary for measuring the characteristic. The measured data is transferred via Wi-Fi wireless technology to a single-board computer Raspberry PI within the LAN network. The data is processed, archived, and visualized by a computer application.
