Abstract
The bachelor thesis provides a comprehensive view of the implementation of foster care in the Czech Republic through the analysis of foster care benefits and their evaluation, while providing a comprehensive view of alternative family care in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the development of paid foster care benefits, which are registered at selected Contact Offices of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic for the period 2014-2020 and to determine what volume and what volume the money is paid by the workplace with respect to the number of inhabitants in the city care.
The first chapter focuses on clarifying the institution of the family and the importance of the child's development in the family, as well as its legal definition and legal regulation of alternative family care and the definition of their forms. The second chapter focuses on the analysis of foster care benefits at selected contact workplaces of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic and the evaluation of foster care benefits paid in 2014 to 2020 by two contact workplaces of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic, namely Karviná Contact workplace and Frýdek-Místek Contact workplace. The third chapter contains an evaluation of foster care benefits at selected contact points of the Labor Office.
