Abstract: The bachelor´s work Kontrolní systém v podmínkách města (Control system in terms of municipality) deals with the control system in terms of city Šumperk. The aim of the work is the evaluation of the setting and working of the internal control system of municipal authority city Šumperk in years 2013 and 2014. The main source for gaining the relevant information for this work is the specialised literature, which is relating to the controlling mechanisms in public administration considering the theory of the Czech Republic. This represents the first part of the work. The second part of the work deals with setting of control system in terms of Šumperk. The source of data in the second part have been the internal regulations of municipality in Šumperk, which were provided by municipality in Šumperk and then also laws dealing with control in public administration.
