Abstract
The topic of bachelor thesis was focused on the employee satisfaction of fast food chains in the Czech Republic. The main objective of the thesis was to identify and compare the level of satisfaction of the two competing companies McDonald's and KFC. As a result of the occurrence of several research problems, the main objective was amended to determine the employee satisfaction level of McDonald's branches in Ostrava. The research was conducted using online questionnaire on the vyplnto.cz portal. The aim was to determine the level of customer satisfaction of the selected companies, to compare among themselves and to determine whether there is a relationship between customer and employee satisfaction. Customer satisfaction research was conducted using a controlled structured dialogue. The results indicate that there is a relationship between the satisfaction of employees and customers of McDonald's branches in Ostrava. Furthermore, McDonald's was found to have more satisfied customers than KFC, despite the results being very close.
