Abstract

The area of the thesis is analysis and innovation of spedition planning process. The theoretical part is focused on environment of spedition and elementary terms of this area, legislation and other limitations, as well as theory of object-oriented programming. The analytical part is focused on description of spedition environment in a company, its specific parameters, possible areas of application the inovation and various alternatives of solution. The practical part of the thesis is focused on creation of application, which should help simplify and innovate spedition planning process with automatical calculation and replace manual process of planning. As a result, the application increases the efficiency of planning process, especially in the area of time savings and the possibility of using more algorithms. Further possibilities of expansion are quite rich, from expansion of personalization options to adding maps and integration with other systems.
