Abstract

Bachelors thesis Biometric Authentication Methods by Using Eyes discusses the theory and practice of biometric authentication systems based on biometry of an iris and a retina. The author analyzes principles of operation of the individual algorithms and methods in the first part of the thesis. The second part is focused on the practical application of this issue, gathering the input data by using several different aparatury and its subsequent testing by using the open source solutions. Everything is done on Linux operating system. Each program is then subjected to reliability, security and accuracy tests. The result is comparison of each used program and an analysis of the input data. The thesis also includes construction of a basic ifra-red illumination. You can also find a CD containing all the gathered data, software, or used publications.
