Abstract

This thesis deals with mix formulation of asphalt concrete for surfacing course. The introduction provides general information about asphalt mixtures. Next part describes input materials and the requirements to be met. Extensive part of the work then consists of a description of tests and the actual course of mix formulation progress. The result is a formula of asphalt concrete that is being set for entering the production process. In conclusion, the work also describes procedures for attestation of conformity of the finished asphalt layer that was made. Acquiring of knowledge did not take place only in a laboratory environment, but it was possible to participate in the actual production in the mixing, or watch the process of laying asphalt concrete in practice.
