Abstract
The main objective of this diploma thesis is the complex design and analysis of the temporary shoring and the final lining of pit filling stations which are part of the public sewerage system of Baska. Before the proposal itself, an GEOE survey of the areas of interest is evaluated and a specific additional GEOE survey is carried out using sampling and laboratory measurements, followed by a draft of the technical implementation aspects. The methodology and the practical evaluation of temporary shoring is devised and specified in the form of large-scale sheeting boxes, in which the mathematical models are described, together with other elements and the methodology for their completion. Based on these assumptions, mathematical models of the three pits and of their variant models were developed in the Plaxis2D program (15 models in total) and the Geo5 program (a further 12 models). Manual calculation is carried out to check the calculated data for the final lining with precast reinforced concrete and its assessment. The outcome of this thesis is an evaluation of the optimal design and technical implementation on the basis of calculated and thoroughly evaluated data. Project evaluation from the time and economic perspectives is included as well as part of the design documentation. Finally, there is a summary, overall assessment and recommendations for the construction of the mathematical models and technical aspects.
