Využití pyrolýzních produktů ve flotaci

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the use of fluid products of pyrolysis as flotation agents during flotation. The theoretical part describes the processes of flotation and pyrolysis; factors that influence the processes and the chemical agents used. Coal flotation being the main focus of this work, the theoretical part also describes a coal flotation diagram and factors influencing coal flotation. As part of the practical part, experiments involving coal flotation using products of pyrolysis were conducted. These products included a mixture of Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Biomass – wood and oilseed rape, Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), High-density polyethylene (HDPE), Polystyrene (PS), Polypropylene (PP) and a mixture of LDPE, HDPE and PP. Results were compared using a commercially available flotation agent device Montanol 508.
