Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the optimization of the production process of the production of molds and cores by means of Furan No-Bake technology for the production of castings from graphitizing iron alloys. The influence of protective coatings, which are an integral part of this process, is also included in the optimization of the manufacturing process. The first part of the theoretical part is devoted of division of second generation connective systems and especially to organic binders. In the second part, the distribution of coatings and their application on mixtures. In the practical part, verification of the production process is carried out under standard conditions serving as a standard and the proposed changes are verified to verify the proposed optimization. The proposed changes include optimizing the composition of the molding mixture and the conditions for preparing casting molds including the preparation and application of protective coatings.
