Abstract

Objective of the thesis is to evaluate potential utilization of waste biomass from agricultural primary production for removal of selected heavy metals from model solutions. As biosorbent were used shells of fruit of European walnut (Juglans regia). Suitability of this biosorbent was verified by determination of its sorption capacity. Within the study of optimal conditions activation the biosorbent were studied different concentrations of the activation sodium hydroxide solution. Activated samples were applied to model solutions of lead and analysed an atomic adsorption spectrometer.
