Měřicí platforma -- jednoduchá bandgap napěťová reference

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis presents the development of a measurement platform for exploring a voltage reference based on the Brokaw cell. The aim was to design a compact, reliable system that enables students to observe the behavior of a bandgap reference and verify its stability under varying temperatures. The platform incorporates a circuit with two transistors, an operational amplifier, and a resistor network; the board also features test points for monitoring individual voltages. The first part of the thesis explains the bandgap reference principle and how temperature affects its voltage components. The second part details the circuit design, component selection, and board layout, which accommodates both SMD and DIP packages to allow easy replacement of the operational amplifier. The third part describes the soldering process, system commissioning, and a summary of temperature tests that confirmed the stability of the reference voltage.
