Abstract

This thesis focuses on a suitable economic and ecological option for heating a family house. Choosing the right heating system is one of the most important principles for the economic use of the premises. The appropriate choice of the heating system is encountered in new buildings as well as in houses to be renovated. The theoretical part focuses on the most widespread heating technologies in the Czech Republic together with a description of heat losses of buildings. The practical part shows the economic comparison of selected variants of heating systems by methods of multicriteria analysis. Subsequently, a comparison of an existing gas-fired instantaneous boiler with a transition to a more modern heating technology in a real family house is made.
