Studium mechorostů (Bryophyta) na odumřelé dřevní hmotě v hospodářských lesích

Abstract

The aim of my research was to obtain better understanding of the species of epixylic, terrestric and epiphytic bryophytes and to compare the species composition in managed forests in dependence on the amount of dead wood as well as to assess the importance of dead wood for bryophyte variability. Further on, the existence of correlation between the species representation of terrestrial gastropods and the species composition of bryophytes was assessed. For this purpose, six study areas were designated in a managed forest, three sites included lying dead wood, and three sites were without lying dead wood. The model study area was chosen in Central Bohemia at the boundary between the Nymburk and Mlada Boleslav Districts, between the villages of Jabkenice, Mcely, and Loucen. This area is called Svatojirsky les. The inventarization of bryophytes in the studied locations took place in the period between August and October 2010. The obtained results suggest that the selected area is bryologically relatively poor; no significant difference was observed in the species variability of bryophytes in the locations with lying dead wood and without its presence.
