Genderové rozpočtování na úrovni obce

Abstract

This thesis is focused on characteristics of gender budgeting at the conditions of the Czech Republic. The aim is to define gender budgeting and qualify impacts of the project Gender Fokus in the communities of the region Vysočina according to defined index. This impact is based on opinions of representatives of the five participating pilot communities, who were really willing to help with this issue. Particularly there are communities. Havlíčkův Brod, Polná, Štěměchy, Bohdalov and Počátky. A part of this thesis is focused on characteristics of public administration, especially at the municipal level. There are also mentioned basic functions and procedures for municipalities to create regional budgets.
