Návrh a vývoj aplikace pro Android

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with design and development of an native application running in environment of an Android operating system. The goal was also to learn about technologies and methods which are used when mobile applications are developed. The application is primarily for employees of the kitchen to order products from distributors in established restaurant. The application´s user interface is designed to be very intuitive, convenient and to fit to Material Design graphical standard. The application was developed in Integrated Development Enviroment called Android Studio and is backwards compatible with Android version 5.0 Lollipop. Google’s Firebase Realtime Database was used for implementation of the database model. Local storage covers database management system – SQLite. The individual activities were programmed using object-oriented programming language Java. The appearance of activities was declared in markup language XML.
