This thesis is focused on determining distances in the field of fire protection. The first section describes the physical nature and the formation of radiation. There is also a description of the experimental survey examined values, which builds on identifying distance by Czech technical standards. The last section is a description of the resulting calculation program. The aim of this thesis is to create a computational program, which will be used to determine the fire danger zone.
