Srovnání dopadů současné finanční krize na bankovní systém v České republice a ve Velké Británii

Abstract

The aim of my Diploma thesis “Comparison of the Impact of Current Financial Crisis on the Banking System in the Czech Republic and Great Britain” is to analyze the influence of the current financial crisis on above mentioned banking systems. The first part describes current financial crisis, its causes, evolution and impact on the economies of EU and USA. Following part contains banking history in the Czech Republic and Great Britain from its birth to presence. It also focuses on the commercial banking, concretely on analysis of the four largest banks in each country. Comparison of the impact of current financial crisis on the banking system in the Czech Republic and Great Britain is in the last part.
